Want to be part of the fun in your student's classroom? Sign up to volunteer this year!

Art, Garden & STEAM Rotation
Each classroom rotates through Art, Garden Lab, and STEAM on a 3-week cycle all year. Pick one, sign up weekly, or split the schedule with another parent — it's up to you.

• Art – Help students with lessons in the Art lab

• Garden Lab – Assist in our outdoor garden alongside the teacher

• STEAM – Support our STEAM teacher with in-classroom lessons

Library
Help students pick out books every week, and assist the librarian with checking books in/out and shelving.

DART (Dino Art is Back!)
A parent-led program where volunteers coordinate with the teacher to bring an art lesson into the classroom, typically about once a month. Note: DART is still getting set up — volunteers will be notified once supplies and lessons are ready.

Teachers may also post additional volunteer opportunities throughout the year, so check in with them often.

Important: Volunteer requirements have changed. All in-classroom volunteers must now complete mandatory training (about an hour) and meet MDUSD's Level 2 clearance requirements. Please review the details before signing up:
