PTA Board Members for the 24/25 School Year Needed
We are beginning to recruit for the PTA Board for the 24/25 school year. We welcome any one who would like to be involved. The positions are listed below. If you are interested please reach out to one of our current Board members for more information or email phepta94523@gmail.com.
Positions:
President: Responsible for running all Board & General meetings, interfacing with the school principal and overall making sure the PTA meets its mission to support all students at PHE.
Vice President: Supports the President, steps in when the President is unable to attend a meeting.
Secretary: Records minutes at all Board & General PTA Meetings. Compiles “Highlights” to share with broader community and helps track volunteer hours.
Treasurer: Manages the budget (with the President) and all outgoing expenditures.
Financial Secretary: Handles all incoming funds (donations) and transfers.
Communications: Responsible for sending out the weekly email newsletter and helping to manage the social media accounts.
Hospitality: Runs staff and community events like teacher appreciation week, coffee with the principal, the welcome picnic in August, and grade level socials.
Programs: Oversees all non-fundraising PTA events like BikePHE, Dino Community Service Day, Helping Hands Food Drive, the Dino Dollar Store and more.
Auditor: Audits all PTA financials twice a year
Membership: Tracks and manages all PTA memberships
Ways and Means: Runs all fundraising programs like the Fun Run, Carnoween, Square 1 Art, and the Spring Gala
Head Room Parent: Oversees and supports all class room parents, creates and shares content for them to send to their classes.

Bike.PHE is our bike club at Pleasant Hill Elementary School, sponsored by the PTA and supported by bicycle nonprofits in the area.
Bike.PHE hosts a number of programs throughout the year to promote active transportation to and from school for our WHOLE community.
