Help Needed!
We are looking for volunteers to help with the following:
First aid request from the office!
If your kiddo has ever needed an ice pack at school please consider sending some new sponges to the office - they are almost out. These from Amazon work, you can even send them right to the office (2097 Oak Park Blvd)!
Student Store Lead:
Order items and set up carts for monthly student store
Organize volunteers to assist once a month (Friday mornings)
If you are interested or know someone who can help, please email Anna at phepta94523@gmail.com.
Bookworm Pajama Party!
Join us in our PHE school library for an evening filled with stories from our wonderful Pleasant Hill Librarian, Patrick. Put on your pajamas and snuggle up for a relaxing evening as he reads stories tailored for our younger Dinos (think grades TK-3, though all are welcome). We'll have milk and cookies and bookmarks to decorate. Siblings of all ages welcome. Please note this is NOT a drop off event, guardians must be present.
Sign your kids up for after school enrichment and enjoy some extra time to yourself while they have fun and enjoy learning something new with their friends!
Our new PTA sponsored bike club is rolling out a fun program called "Walking and Rolling Wednesdays" which starts Sept 21st. Every Wednesday (before school) parent volunteers will be counting walkers and rollers by scanning Bike.PHE key chains with barcodes. The goal of the program is to support and encourage an active commute to school in a fun way.
If you currently drive but on occasion would like to walk or roll, sign up your student! The goal is to increase our active movement one step at a time. Driving in and parking down the road is encouraged.
In order to register, flyers will be heading home this week (or click here for the registration form and here for the waiver form). Parent volunteers will be at the main front and back gates Sept 12-16th to collect and register students.
Looking forward to seeing students walking and rolling!
