CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS!
Carnoween can't happen without the support of our community! Each classroom has an equal number of volunteer spots to fill with one (maybe 2) booths AND at least one volunteer to help with set up or take down.
In addition to each volunteer recieving 10 FREE Tickets (👋 HELLO DUNK TANK!), the class with the most volunteers gets EXTRA RECESS AND A PIZZA PARTY!
Be your child's champion to win their class these awesome prizes and have lots of fun participating in the Carnoween festivities.
You can view the assignments, and sign up for shifts on this sign up genius or contact your room parent if you have any questions.
Important notes:
Volunteers do not need to be cleared with the district to volunteer for this event. We welcome your middle and high school students to volunteer as well.
Volunteers will receive 10 free tickets to use for game booths and other activities, excluding concessions.
The volunteer shifts are spread out in a way that will still allow you to enjoy the day with your family.
SEE FULL ACTIVITY LIST HERE if you are interested in learning about all the Carnoween opportunities. We certainly welcome all the volunteers we can gather!
Trunk or Treat
We are looking for 5 - 6 families who might want to show their creative flare and host their vehicle for the duration of Carnoween in our new Trunk or Treat Area at the festival. If you are interested, please reach out to Christina Silva.
Costume Parade
Please register HERE if you are interested in your child participating in the Costume Parade. Students are asked to meet at the front of the school at 10:30am, where we will organize them by grade level. At 11:00am we will start the parade as the opening ceremony to Carnoween beginning. Each student who participates will get 10 tokens that can be redeemed at the prize booth.
We will send out reminders about the parade once you have signed up.
Haunted House
The annual Haunted House is back this year to create a spooky and fun experience for our Dino community. It is a tradition that our 5th grade students act as guides during the tour. If your 5th grade student is interested in doing this, please sign up here. Also, we are looking for parents to help with the set up and take down. If you are interested in volunteering, please add your name here (found at the end of the sign up genius). Abigail Lundin will be your contact for the day of event, please reach out to Abigail if you have questions.
